Periphery

Head stations

These head stations for 3, 7 er 11 periphery slots are so easy to config, that it is learned and done in a minute. Just assign the node ID on the hexadecimal turn switches in the head stations and insert this value into the cost free configuration tool ConfigStage – ready. I/O start addresses will be assigned automatically and controlled by an internal plausibility test. Up to 127pcs. of these stations can be connected to an INSEVIS S7-CPU. A solid metal cover protects the inserted periphery modules.

Digital modules

Single digital inputs for 24V, relay outputs for 230V as single  potential free contacts or configurable digital in-/output modules for 24V – each of the  <20mm smart periphery units contains state-LEDs, a 45° angled and space-saving connect area and can be labeled wit customized logos. INSEVIS stands for permanent innovation, even at the digital signals layer too: As example the backreadable digital outputs can be configured ba software, if the output or input shall be used. So this DIO16-module can be used as a spare module for some I/Os to spend it during commissioning the application.

Analog modules

The easy configuration of the mess- and address ranges by the configuration software ConfigStage are only one advantage of the analog periphery modules of INSEVIS. Each module has its special functionality like the automatic regulation from 12 to 16bit resolution (incl. +-sign) or the selection of 2-, 3- or 4-wire connection technology including a range of sensors. Always ready to label with your logo and article-number. And of course you can use your PID blocks from Siemens for the analog value processing in the INSEVIS-PLCs as well.

Function Modules

Finally a function module with high speed counters (125kHz) and digital In-/Outputs for 2A, where the desired configuration will be selected and downloaded by the cosat free configuration tool ConfigStage. To be really flexible and to prevent too many different modules on stock. If this functionality is counting up/down, frequency- or period time measurement, or whatever will come – all will be assigned by software. the hardware is only different for different signal types; 5V / 24V / RS422.
