Profinet

PROFINET Switch, 4-port, managed

With the 4-port-managed PROFINET switch, PROFINET participants can be connected saving time and costs.
With a GSDML file, you integrate the 4-port switch into your automation environment as usual. The compact and industry-compatible design for DIN rail installation convinces, as does the web interface for configuration and diagnosis. It is also possible to carry out a diagnosis and/or configuration via Telnet, SSH or USB.
The supported PROFINET protocols, such as LLPD, DCP or even diagnosis alarms, can be easily configured and administered. The transmission speed of up to 100 Mbit/s, which can be defined for each port, is as much a standard feature as the PROFINET Conformance Class B and the MRP Client for transmission security through ring redundancy.

PN/CAN-Gateway, PROFINET/CANopen®

The PN/CAN gateway connects CANopen® devices in a PROFINET network. At the same time, it is a full-fledged CANopen® master.
As the master, it supports gateway network management, SYNC telegrams, and node guarding / heartbeat for monitoring the participants.
On the PROFINET network, the PN/CAN gateway is a PROFINET IO device that supports transfer rates up to 100 Mbps full duplex, and on the CAN bus up to 1 Mbps is supported.
The IO data (PDOs) of the CANopen® participants is transparently displayed in a freely configurable manner in the PROFINET network and can be processed directly in the PLC.
The PN/CAN gateway is integrated with a GSDML file in the hardware configurator and can be completely configured there.
Other software tools for parameterization or handling blocks for programming are not required.
Parameterization of the CANopen® participants using SDO telegrams and management of emergency messages is also possible.
Device variants with CAN Layer 2 and CANopen® Slave are in development.

Connector, RJ45, EasyConnect®, 10/100 Mbps

The field-assembled RJ45 connectors for PROFINET, EtherCAT, and Modbus are easy and quick to install. The industrial-grade metal housing provides the necessary ruggedness so that the plug can be used in many industrial applications.
To save the user time in wiring, the RJ45 connectors are to be assembled in one step using the quick-connect technology EasyConnect®. Solid single wires and strands can be used, and the color-coded contact elements help prevent connection errors.
Currently, RJ45 industrial connectors with axial and 90°-angled cable outlets are available. With a PROFINET cable of up to 100 m length, Ethernet components such as a PROFINET station can be connected. In addition, the RJ45 connectors are designed in protection class IP20 and for transmission rates up to 100 Mbit/s.
